Email composer free

Drop in a campaign creative. It is cut into seamless strips, given real Call and WhatsApp buttons, tracked links, personal fields and a compliant footer, and exported as email-ready HTML. The preview updates as you type; click any part of it to edit that part. Nothing is uploaded.

Creative
Sample creativeDrop, paste or click to replace. JPG or PNG, any size (1080×1350 or 1080×1440 work best).
Border colour and thickness 6 px

The border colour is picked from your creative automatically; change it any time, or use the quick colours in Message.

Strips move the red lines in Cuts
Message

Click in any text box (subject, preheader, headline, text, button text, WhatsApp message, footer), then insert a field. Write {{first_name|there}} to show "there" when a name is missing.

Sender picture The round logo next to your name in the inbox. Square PNG or JPG works best.

In real inboxes the picture comes from your sending address, not from the email itself: Gmail shows the Google profile photo of that address, or your brand logo through BIMI (needs DMARC set to quarantine or reject and a verified mark certificate); Yahoo and Apple Mail also read BIMI. Cortex Mail sets up BIMI with you.

Click a colour box above, then a colour here. Now setting: Headline colour. The first colours come from your creative.
Buttons

Show your interest reader's own details
Details to show

When sent through Cortex Mail, "I am interested" opens a one-tap confirmation page that records the interest and alerts sales, and "Edit your details" opens a form already filled with the reader's details. Elsewhere, put your own form links here.

Preview as sample reader

These sample details fill the personal fields in the preview only. The exported email keeps the fields, and each reader sees their own details.

Link tracking UTM tags

utm_content is set per link (strip-1, cta-website…) so you can see which part was clicked. Any old utm_ tags already in a link are removed first, so a link never carries two sources.

Follow us social icons

Badges are generated as small PNGs and shipped with the ZIP. To use official network icons, pick "My own icon images" and upload a PNG for each network.

Design

Headline and text colours are in Message, button colours in Buttons, footer colours in Footer.

Web fonts show in Apple Mail, iPhone, Samsung Mail and Outlook for Mac. Gmail and Outlook for Windows show the fallback font listed after the name, so the email still looks tidy. This preview always shows the fallback.

Export

Leave the image address as images/ to import the ZIP with Mailchimp's "Import zip" (it uploads the images folder for you). For other tools, upload the strips first and paste their full https address here.

Choose a starting point

Ready layouts for common mailers. Your creative, footer, logo, social links, colours and phone numbers stay as they are; only the message, buttons and blocks change.

Send a test email

The test goes out from Cortex Digital Hub's test address with your from-name, so you can check the design, links and buttons in Gmail, Outlook and on your phone. Personal fields show the sample reader (Priya). Unsubscribe and "I am interested" links open an explanation page in a test. Inbox placement in a test does not predict your real sends, which go from your own domain. Up to 15 tests a day.

Looks like one image

Smart cuts land on quiet rows of pixels, so no text is sliced, and the strips stack with no gaps in Gmail, Outlook and phones.

Reads without images

A short real-text block, real buttons and alt text on every strip, so the email still works when images are blocked and filters see a proper email.

Ready for sales

Call, WhatsApp, link, email and SMS buttons, an "I am interested" block with the reader's own details, and UTM tags on every link.

How it works

  1. Drop a creative. 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1440 works best; any JPG or PNG is fine.
  2. Check the cuts. Three strips by default; move the red lines in Cuts if you like.
  3. Fill the details. Subject, preheader, buttons, footer, social links, personal fields.
  4. Export. Copy the HTML, or download a ZIP with the HTML, the strips and a plain-text version.

Send it with Cortex Mail

The composer is free on its own. Cortex Mail adds sending through your own Amazon SES or ours, segments, drips and lead hand-off to your LMS. Start with setting up Amazon SES or read how leads come in from your LMS.

Frequently asked questions

Does my creative get uploaded anywhere?

No. Cutting, compressing and building the email all happen in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server until you upload the strips to your own email tool.

Why not send the creative as one image?

An email that is only a picture is blank when images are blocked (Outlook does this by default) and is more likely to be filtered as promotional or spam. The composer keeps the look of one image but adds a short real-text block, real buttons and a footer.

Will the strips show gaps in Gmail or Outlook?

No. Each strip sits in its own table row with zero padding and line height, and the images are block elements, which is what keeps them seamless in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and phone apps.

Which sizes work best?

Portrait creatives of 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1440 pixels. The composer scales them to 600, 800 or 1,200 pixels wide; 800 is a good balance of sharpness and file size.

Can I use it with Mailchimp or BigMailer?

Yes. Download the ZIP: Mailchimp's Import zip takes the HTML and the images folder in one go. For other tools, upload the strips, paste their address into Export and copy the HTML. Personal fields can be written in Mailchimp's *|FNAME|* style.

What are the {{first_name}} fields?

Personal fields. Each reader sees their own name, email or phone when the email is sent through Cortex Mail or any tool that understands the same fields. The preview fills them with a sample reader.

Can I send myself a test?

Yes. Sign in (free) and press Send test email. Up to three addresses get the design with working buttons and links, so you can check it in Gmail, Outlook and on your phone. Up to 15 tests a day.
