Questions

Is there a monthly plan?

No. You add credits and each campaign uses credits for the emails it sends. Contacts are stored free, however many you have, so a large list that you email rarely costs very little.

What does my own Amazon SES cost on top?

Amazon bills you directly at its own price, about $0.10 to $0.16 per 1,000 emails depending on your account. Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid, Brevo, Resend and SMTP2GO bill you on their own plans. See sending services compared.

Are test emails charged?

No. You can send up to 15 test emails a day free, through the Cortex test address or through your own connected provider.

Which is cheaper, my own provider or Cortex sending?

Your own Amazon SES is cheapest at volume: about ₹1.50 plus roughly ₹10 to ₹15 that Amazon bills per 1,000 emails. Cortex sending costs ₹65 per 1,000 but needs no AWS account and includes warm-up, reputation protection and help with your domain.
