Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF keep the PNG's resolution?
Yes with Original quality. A 1920-px-wide screenshot on an A4 page is more than enough for print and zooming.
The PNGs are huge; can the PDF be smaller?
Switch image quality to High (smaller) and the pages are re-encoded as JPEG inside the PDF, usually 5 to 10 times smaller, fine for photos and screenshots without fine text.
Can I make a PDF of screenshots for a bug report?
That is the typical use: add the screenshots in sequence, keep Original quality, download, attach.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The file is processed in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and it works offline once the page has loaded.
