How to make a brochure-ready floor plan
The plans that reach a marketing team are rarely brochure-ready: different drawing styles from different consultants, labels too small to print, a site map on the same page. A good brochure spread needs a clean 2D and a furnished 3D of the same unit, in a style that matches the rest of the book.

Quick answer. Start with a clean 2D in a consistent style: if the plans arrive in mixed styles or as scans, run them through Floor Plan Redraw with one of your own plans as a style sample. Then render the furnished 3D from the clean 2D in 2D to 3D Floor Plan at 4K, in a saved style shared by every unit. Add a title block with the unit type, area and facing in the Studio, and export. Pair the 2D and 3D on the spread: the 2D for the area statement side, the 3D for the lifestyle side.

Step by step
- Collect every unit plan as an image at 200 dpi or more. Export brochure or drawing PDFs with the free PDF to JPG tool; crop to the unit.
- Unify the drawing style: redraw mixed-style or scanned plans in Floor Plan Redraw with a style sample from your best plan.
- Render each clean plan in 2D to 3D Floor Plan at 4K using one saved style, so every unit in the book matches.
- Add the title block (unit type, area, facing, tower) in the Studio, export, and compress the final brochure PDF with the free compressor for email and WhatsApp.
Tips that save a second attempt
- Print needs 300 dpi at the printed size. A 4K render covers a full A4 page; a 2K render is for the web version.
- Label legibility is the first thing print reveals. Check the smallest dimension on a 4K export at 100 percent before sending to the printer.
- A neutral background on the 3D render sits better on a designed spread than a strong one. Backgrounds change for free in the Studio.
- Keep a 1K export of each render too; channel partners and WhatsApp will ask for it the day the brochure goes out.
Frequently asked questions
Should the brochure show the 2D or the 3D?
Both, on the same spread. The 2D carries the measured information; the 3D carries the understanding. They agree because the 3D is rendered on the 2D.
How do we make plans from two different architects look alike?
Redraw them with the same style sample in Floor Plan Redraw. Walls, openings and labels are kept; the drawing style becomes one.
Can we add the project logo to the render?
Add the title in the Studio and place the logo in the brochure layout, or composite it in the free photo editor. Keep the plan itself free of logos so it stays reusable.
What does a 3D render cost?
The first render is free with an account. After that a 2K Lumen render is 25 credits (₹12.50 at ₹0.50 a credit), 4K is 55 and the premium Atlas engine is 60. Restyling, recolouring, backgrounds and titles in the Studio are free.
